About Salt Palace Convention Center

In 2012, the Salt Palace Convention Center installed a 1.65 megawatt solar array spanning 198,000 square feet of rooftop panels, making it one of the largest rooftop solar installations on a convention center in the United States. The facility holds GBAC STAR accreditation and served as the Olympic Media Center during the 2002 Winter Olympics.
