The David L. Lawrence Convention Center is the premier meeting and exhibition facility in downtown Pittsburgh, offering 1.5 million square feet of total space along the Allegheny River. The facility holds LEED Platinum certification—the highest level of green building achievement—and was the first LEED-certified convention center in North America. The center features 313,400 square feet of exhibit space, including the 236,900-square-foot column-free Exhibit Hall A—one of the largest column-free exhibit halls in the United States—with 32-foot ceilings. The facility includes 53 meeting rooms, the 31,610-square-foot Spirit of Pittsburgh Ballroom, and a rooftop terrace with panoramic river and city views. The facility is connected to the Westin Pittsburgh (614 rooms) via an enclosed walkway.

The DLCC electrical department provides building-wide power and processes all utility orders via exhibitor service forms. Non-standard needs are handled directly by venue electricians.
